I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at the ATC for their dedication to the Dispatching & Transportation Operations program. When I first walked through the front door I was greeted by Rebecca, Ricardo, and then it just got better. Once in the classroom, Jerry made us feel like we were going to conquer the world.

When I first started I wondered what had I gotten into, but as the weeks went by and I immersed myself in the weekly segments, I found that I could learn and retain what Jerry was trying to teach us. Jerry’s vast knowledge of the trucking industry was very much appreciated and made it so that I wanted to learn more.

Jerry seemed to like giving us lots of tests, but in the end it paid off, with 19 weeks in class, 4 weeks out in practicum, and then a final week to refresh and study for the final exam was very fulfilling.

I also enjoyed how all the staff encouraged us to stick with it and that in the end it would be worth it, and would take the time to talk with us even though we were all very busy.

Once again, thank you for all the help!

My name is Omid Fard, I’m an international student at ATC as an automotive technician student. I will be graduating in September. My instructor – Dave is the best instructor in the mechanics field. I spent a lot of time in the shop learning and got a lot of experience during the course. I recommend anyone interested in cars to come to ATC.

Look Who Dropped in Today – Malcolm Subban!

Hockey Sticks and Cars are passions for Malcolm Subban, NHL player and Goaltender for the Boston Bruins!  Malcolm has always had a love and appreciation for cars and came by to visit the Toronto Campus, with a possibility of developing himself in automotive repair.  Donna had the opportunity to introduce him and show him around at the college and enjoyed learning more about the hockey Superstar!

Both students and staff were delighted with his presence. Of course, Donna had to ask for a photo, as she is a true hockey fan herself!   Malcolm has a busy season approaching but we are looking forward to possibly seeing him in the summer!!!   Good luck in the season Malcolm, we will be watching you closely as you approach another successful year.  On the ice, or in the shop,  Go Malcolm Go!

The staff exhibits extreme efforts to help students and are very friendly. The course I’m taking is taught by Ernest Mashingaidze. He is very informative and willing to answer any questions. There are no bad questions. I feel that this course will prepare me for a number of jobs in the field. I would highly recommend this school to anyone.

My Name is Shirley Wright and I did the Automotive Service Operations Program, which consists of Service Advising, Parts and Collision & Estimating. These modules gave me insight into how the overall industry works.

Service Advising highlights the importance of communication. Collision & Estimating deals with repairs and details for good analysis. Learning Auto Parts deals with components that make up the different systems of a car.

My co-op experience was wonderful, Thanks to Dipa, my Admission Advisor who helped guide me through the process and helped me to reach my career goals.

Thank you to my teacher Marc who has many years of experience and insight in preparing his students for this wonderful industry.

As I will be graduating on the 26th of July, I just wanted to thank my admissions rep – Paul Rizzuto for helping me with everything, from being the first person I’ve had contact with for enrolling me in the college and giving me advice when I needed it most regarding the paths that were available to me throughout my time here. The journey I had at the school was phenomenal and I’ve learned so much that it helped me kick-start my career in the best direction possible.

If anybody that I come into contact with is looking for a career in the automotive field, I will direct them to ATC because I know they will guide them in the right direction.

Hi, my name is Jacob Linhares and I am a student soon to graduate at Automotive Training Centres Toronto.

When I first visited the college to enroll, I felt welcomed and excited. My first thought about this school was that this is a huge goal I had to achieve.

The staff and students I’ve met here are great people that gave me very positive energy to pursue my career. My instructor Dave is experienced and share his knowledge…I have learned so much and I am confident. I wish to be successful in this path and with all the help I am given at ATC, I will succeed. After I graduate from ATC, I wish to be a Licenced Technician and move up in the Automotive industry. I have opportunities already and can’t wait to work in a professional dealership and develop even further. Thank you ATC.
