Italian automaker Maserati has revealed plans to step it up a gear this year with an impressive 2020 line-up, all carrying a cheaper price tag.
Originally a race car brand, Maserati remains focused on performance. With Ferrari-powered engines, drivers can expect an impressively fast but smooth drive. Over the next few years, the automaker also plans to expand with more hybrid and electric options.
The 2020 line-up includes the highly anticipated Maserati Alfieri, as well as upgraded versions of the Levanteand Quattroporte ranges. The models are in production now and are expected to reach dealerships by March.

The 2020 Maserati Alfieri Will Be on Every Auto Body Repair Technician’s Wish List
Originally unveiled as a concept in 2014, the 2020 Maserati Alfieriwill be highly anticipated by car enthusiasts and auto body technicians. The Alfieri is set to make its debut at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show in March.
This next-generation sports car will be available in coupe and convertible forms, as well as petrol, plug-in hybrid, and electric options.
The electric version combines three electric motors, two on the rear axles and one on the front. With an ultra-fast 800 volt charging port, the electric Alfieri can hit a max speed of 297km/h, and go from 0 – 100km/h in just 2 seconds. The plug-in hybrid is expected to be available by 2022.
Maserati’s Classic Levante Range Also Gets an Upgrade
The Levante was Maserati’s first-ever SUV and accounts for almost half of the company’s global sales. Given that the Levante is so important to Maserati’s customerbase, it’s no surprise that the company have invested in the range this year.
Auto body repair technicians will be pleased to see that the exterior of the latest models stay faithful to the previous Levante design. It also includes a new panoramic sunroof, a heated steering wheel, and driver assistance features like forward collision warning, automated emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, and 360-degree exterior camera system. These exciting additions should make for an even more luxurious driving experience.
The Levante is powered by a twin turbocharged V6 or V8 engine depending on what version you go for, offering between 345 and 550 bhp. The top-of-the-range Levante GTS can go from standstill to 100km/h in just 4 seconds, with a torque of 538 lb-ft.
Take the Latest Quattroporte for a Spin
Fans of Maserati’s Quattroporte will not be disappointed with the 2020 range. Meaning ‘four doors’ in Italian, the Quattroporte is the automaker’s flagship sedan and doesn’t compromise on power or style.
The Quattroporte S and SQ4 have a 3.0L twin turbocharged V6 engine, which can generate 424 hp and go from 0 – 100km/h in less than 5 seconds. The GTS features a 3.8L twin turbocharged V8 engine with 524 hp, giving it that noticeable extra kicking power.
The latest range also comes with a reduced price tag, and with a starting price of $134,900 is around $10,000 cheaper than the 2019 version.
