An Italian design firm recently developed GazeBox— a multi-purpose carport system that can be used to store a vehicle.
The retractable cover system provides year-round protection from theft as well as harmful weather elements—all while keeping car owner’s beloved vehicle in plain sight.
If you’re planning to pursue an automotive career, read on to learn about the technology behind the all-new GazeBox carport system, and find out why Canadian consumers will definitely find use for this product!
An All-New Automotive Cover System
GazeBox is available in a wide range of sizes. Either side of the GazeBox opens and closes at the push of a button in a manner that’s similar to a traditional garage door. The product is made up of iron framework and polycarbonate panels. Consumers can choose whether they want these panels to be transparent, or made up of polycarbonate that resembles wood or carbon fibre. Polycarbonate will not shatter, making this system ideal for protecting a car against nicks and scratches caused by debris and other elements.
When it is open, GazeBox can also be used as a gazebo, providing shade and protection from harmful UV rays. The durable panels are designed in such a way that when they are completely closed, gaps remain between them to allow for efficient air flow. Car owners using carports won’t have to wait very long for their cars to cool down on hot summer days.
There are already many features included in standard GazeBox models, but consumers have several add-on options, such as:
- Air conditioning
- Remote-controlled LED lights
- Solar panels
- Theft alarm
- Fan-powered aeration system
- 1300-watt compact vacuum cleaner
Auto industry experts can definitely agree that the GazeBox is far more technologically advanced than any other carport system to date!
Canadian Car Owners Will Benefit From This Carport
While the remote-controlled LED lights featured in GazeBox are especially interesting, perhaps one of the most beneficial things about the system is the stress-relief that it can offer Canadian drivers during the winter months. This is mainly because every Canadian dreads waking up in the morning with the task of having to remove inches of snow off of their car, and GazeBox seems like a great solution to this issue.
If you’re hoping to pursue a career in automotive painting, you know that using the sharp edge of a snow brush to hack away at the ice and snow on a car can cause major damage to its paint job. Therefore, safely storing the car in the GazeBox system is an ideal way of maintaining its exterior’s shine and lustre.
Even though conventional car shelters offer some protection from the snow and ice, they aren’t easy to install and they are subject to wear and tear after only a few seasons. Additionally, their front entrances often blow open when there’s a lot wind, allowing for the entry of snow.
If futuristic carport systems like the GazeBox become standard, students pursuing auto industry careers will see less needless damage to the vehicles they sell or repair once they break into the industry.
GazeBox has yet to release any pricing and availability information on its system; however, this should be announced sometime over the next year.
