Traditional vehicles, on the other hand, waste this energy as heat. Learning to service and maintain regenerative braking systems is essential for a hybrid and electric vehicle mechanic.  

Maintenance and Repairs: Traditional engines require regular oil changes and fuel system maintenance, but hybrid engines demand additional attention to their batteries and electric motors.
