If you love popping open the hood of a car and figuring out how it runs, then a job as an auto mechanic may be a great fit. Get online and find out what you need to become a mechanic, such as the training requirements and the number of apprenticeship hours that must be completed. Also, don’t be afraid to reach out to people who are already working as mechanics. Ask them how they got started and what advice they can give you.
