Engineers at HPD installed a fully customized tube frame beneath the CR-V, and all the bodywork beneath the beltline is custom-made from carbon fibre. Furthermore, the HPD Beast sports the front suspension from an Acura NSX GT-3 Evo22 race car, while the rear suspension is directly taken from a current-generation Indy car. The CR-V also uses an Indy car’s radiator to cool the twin-turbo V6.
